We are looking for an experienced Workday Finance Automation Tester with strong hands-on experience in Workday Financial Management and Playwright automation .

The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of Workday Finance modules along with proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript . The candidate will be responsible for functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of Workday Finance applications and automating critical business scenarios.

Workday Finance Modules Experience testing one or more of the following:

- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Customer-to-Cash (C2C)
- Procurement
- Expenses
- Asset Management
- Banking & Settlement
- Financial Accounting
- Financial Reporting

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Playwright automation frameworks for Workday Finance applications.
- Create reusable and scalable automation scripts using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript .
- Automate functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios.
- Develop Page Object Models, reusable test utilities, assertions, test data, and automation components.
- Perform functional testing of Workday Financial Management modules.
- Validate end-to-end finance processes including P2P, C2C, GL, AP, AR, Expenses, Procurement,



and Asset Management .
- Create and execute detailed test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform SIT, UAT, regression, integration, and release testing .
- Validate Workday Business Processes, approval workflows, validations, routing rules, and notifications.
- Test Workday integrations including EIB and inbound/outbound interfaces .
- Perform API testing and validate data exchanged between Workday and downstream systems.
- Validate Workday financial reports, dashboards, accounting entries, and financial data.
- Integrate Playwright automation suites with CI/CD pipelines .
- Analyze automation failures, troubleshoot flaky tests, and maintain stable automation suites.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects using JIRA or similar tools.
- Support Workday release testing and ensure automated regression coverage.
- Collaborate with Workday Functional Consultants, Business Analysts, Developers, and Finance stakeholders.

Required Experience

- 4+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA.
- Robust hands-on experience with Playwright automation .
- Strong programming experience in JavaScript or TypeScript .
- Hands-on experience building or maintaining automation frameworks.
- Strong experience in Workday Financials / Workday Finance Testing .
- Good understanding of Finance and Accounting business processes.
- Experience with functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with test case creation, execution, defect management, and reporting.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automation execution pipelines.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
