Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Web Developer role based at ACE College of Engineering in Trivandrum.
The Web
Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining college websites and web applications that support academic, administrative, and student-facing services. Day-to-day tasks include building responsive user interfaces, developing and optimizing server-side functionality, integrating databases and APIs, and ensuring site security and performance. The role also involves collaborating with faculty and administrative staff to gather requirements, implementing updates and new features,
troubleshooting technical issues, and keeping web technologies aligned with current best practices and institutional branding.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development and Web Design skills to create responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces.
- Candidates should possess solid Back-End Web Development and Programming skills to build secure, scalable, and efficient server-side functionality.
- Candidates should possess comprehensive Web Development skills to manage full-stack implementations, maintenance, and deployment of web solutions.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with contemporary web technologies and tools (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks, server-side languages, databases, version control).
- Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with academic and administrative teams.
- Candidates should possess a relevant academic background, such as a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; prior experience in educational or institutional web projects is an added advantage.
