Role & responsibilities

- Perform in-process and final inspection of components as per drawings and quality standards.

- Check dimensions, tolerances, surface finish, and visual defects using measuring instruments.

- Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections as per inspection plans.

- Identify and segregate rejected/non-conforming components.

- Record and maintain inspection reports and quality check sheets.

- Report quality issues to the Production and Quality teams.

- Ensure proper traceability and identification of inspected components.

- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.

- Ensure measuring instruments are calibrated and properly maintained.

- Follow IATF/ISO procedures, 5S, safety, and company quality standards.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

- 1 to 2 years of experience in Quality Inspection, preferably in CNC/Manufacturing.

Skills Required

- Hands-on experience with Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and Gauges.

- Positive communication and documentation skills.
