Job Purpose To lead and manage plant maintenance activities, ensuring maximum equipment availability, safe and reliable operation, minimum breakdowns, and compliance with GMP, safety, statutory and engineering requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and supervise preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of production and utility equipment.
- Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of reactors, centrifuges, dryers, mills, pumps, compressors, vacuum systems and other API manufacturing equipment.
- Manage maintenance of utilities including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, DG sets, HVAC, air compressors and electrical systems.
- Analyze equipment breakdowns, identify root causes and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Prepare and monitor preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution.
- Lead maintenance technicians and coordinate manpower, contractors and external service agencies.
- Maintain engineering records, maintenance history, spare-parts inventory and equipment-related documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, EHS and other departments for maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, safety procedures and statutory requirements.
- Support installation, commissioning, modification and qualification of new equipment.
- Control maintenance costs and optimize spare-parts consumption.
- Conduct regular inspection of critical equipment and identify potential failures.
- Participate in audits and ensure timely closure of engineering-related observations and CAPAs.
- Promote safe working practices, permit-to-work systems, LOTO and preventive safety measures.

Qualification & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 610 years of relevant experience in API, pharmaceutical, chemical or process manufacturing industries.
- Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical and utility maintenance.
- Experience in GMP/regulated manufacturing environments will be preferred.

– Maintenance Executive

Job Purpose To execute preventive, breakdown and routine maintenance activities and ensure reliable operation of production equipment and plant utilities with minimum downtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of plant equipment.
- Attend breakdowns and restore equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor reactors, pumps, centrifuges, dryers, mills, compressors, vacuum systems and other process equipment.
- Assist in maintenance of boilers, chillers, DG sets, HVAC, cooling towers, compressors and electrical systems.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and identify abnormalities.
- Maintain maintenance checklists, breakdown reports and equipment history records.
- Follow maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned jobs.
- Coordinate with Production and other departments during equipment maintenance.
- Ensure proper use of tools, PPE, work permits and LOTO procedures.
- Assist in installation, commissioning and modification of equipment.
- Maintain adequate stock and records of engineering spares and consumables.
- Follow GMP, SOP, EHS and statutory requirements during all maintenance activities.
- Support root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.

Qualification & Experience
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 2–6 years of relevant experience in API, pharmaceutical, chemical or process manufacturing.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in process equipment and utility maintenance will be preferred.
