Role & responsibilities

- Accurately post insurance, patient, EFT, and check payments into the billing system.
- Review and process Explanation of Advantages (EOBs) and Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs).
- Reconcile posted payments with bank deposits and remittance reports.
- Identify and escalate denials, underpayments, overpayments, and payment discrepancies.
- Ensure timely and accurate adjustment posting in accordance with payer guidelines.
- Maintain productivity and quality standards while meeting turnaround times.
- Collaborate with billing, accounts receivable, and denial management teams to resolve payment issues.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
- Generate payment posting reports and assist with month-end reconciliation activities.

Preferred candidate profile Min 1 year exp is needed
