- Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate stock levels of raw materials, finished goods, and spare parts. Implement inventory control measures to minimize losses and ensure timely replenishment.
- Material Handling:
Oversee the proper handling, storage, and movement of steel structures and components to prevent damage.
- Logistics & Dispatch:
Coordinate with production and logistics teams for smooth inbound and outbound operations, ensuring timely dispatch of materials.
- Warehouse Organization:
Implement best practices in warehouse layout and storage solutions to optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency.
- Safety Compliance:
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse premises.
- Team Supervision:
Lead and manage warehouse staff, assign tasks, conduct training, and monitor performance.
- Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain records of inventory transactions, material receipts, dispatch logs, and stock reconciliation.
- Vendor Coordination:
Liaise with suppliers and transporters for effective supply chain management.
- Technology Utilization:
Implement and manage warehouse management systems (WMS) to enhance tracking and reporting.
- Process Improvement:
Continuously review and improve warehouse operations to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Must have skills
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices.
- Knowledge in ERP NWay is preferred
- At least 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or a similar role.
Good to have skills
- Good Communication skills
