About The Role

Berkowits Hair & Skin Clinics is looking for a young, dynamic, execution-oriented, and AI-native VP – Human Resources to lead the HR function across the organization.

This is not a conventional HR leadership role focused primarily on policies and administration. We are looking for someone who is highly data-driven, comfortable with technology, strong at execution, and capable of building scalable HR systems for a rapidly growing multi-location organization.

The VP – HR will manage a team of approximately 5 HR professionals and will be responsible for ensuring that recruitment, payroll, incentives, performance management, employee engagement, and HR operations run with high levels of accuracy and discipline.

Key Responsibilities

- HR Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and manage the HR team of approximately 5 professionals.
- Define clear responsibilities, KRAs, and measurable targets for each HR team member.
- Conduct weekly HR reviews and ensure timely closure of pending activities.
- Build a high-accountability and execution-focused culture within the HR team.
- Identify opportunities to automate and simplify repetitive HR processes.
- HR MIS & Analytics

Own the monthly HR dashboard and track key organizational HR metrics, including:
- Employee Headcount
- Manpower Cost
- HR Budget vs Actual
- Employee Attrition
- New Joinees
- Exits
- Open Positions
- Recruitment TAT
- Offer-to-Joining Ratio
- Employee Productivity Metrics
- Attendance and Leave Trends
- Payroll Variances
- Incentive Payouts

Present a structured Monthly HR MIS to the management team with insights, trends, and recommended actions.
- Recruitment & Manpower Planning
- Own recruitment tracking across departments and locations.
- Ensure manpower requirements are captured and prioritized.
- Track recruitment TAT for every open position.
- Monitor recruiter performance and recruitment funnel metrics.
- Improve sourcing, screening, and interview processes.
- Build AI-assisted recruitment workflows to improve productivity and candidate quality.
- Develop talent pipelines for frequently hired positions.
- Payroll & Incentive Processing




- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing every month.
- Coordinate attendance, leave, salary revisions, deductions, and employee changes.
- Ensure payroll data is reconciled before salary processing.
- Oversee monthly employee incentive calculations and payouts.
- Create checks and controls to minimize payroll and incentive errors.
- Performance Management
- Manage the employee performance review calendar.
- Ensure quarterly and periodic reviews are completed on time.
- Track employee KRAs, performance ratings, and review completion.
- Coordinate salary revisions, promotions, and performance improvement plans.
- Build structured performance dashboards for leadership.
- Quarterly Corporate Reviews
- Plan and coordinate Quarterly Corporate Reviews.
- Ensure departments submit performance data and presentations on time.
- Track commitments and action items arising from reviews.
- Maintain follow-up dashboards to ensure closure.
- Rewards & Recognition
- Own the company-wide Rewards & Recognition program.
- Create transparent criteria for employee recognition.
- Ensure regular recognition of high performers and exceptional contributions.
- Develop innovative engagement and recognition initiatives.
- Employee Lifecycle Management

- Full & Final settlement coordination

- Drive effective adoption of Keka and other HR technology platforms.
- Identify processes that can be automated using AI and workflow tools.
- Create AI-assisted systems for recruitment, employee communication, HR analytics, documentation and reporting.
- Build standardized HR SOPs and dashboards.

Ideal Candidate We Are Looking For Someone Who Is

Young, energetic, and highly execution-oriented

- Comfortable working in a fast-growing organization
- Extremely strong with numbers, dashboards, and MIS
- Comfortable taking ownership rather than waiting for instructions
- Process-driven but willing to challenge inefficient processes
- Solid at managing teams and following up relentlessly
- Excellent at Excel / Google Sheets and HR technology
- Experienced with HRMS platforms such as Keka
- Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar platforms
- Curious about automation and constantly looking for ways to make HR faster and more efficient

- Creating HR dashboards and reports

Within the first 6–12 months, the successful candidate should have created an HR function where:

- Employee onboarding and exits happen through clearly defined workflows.
- Performance reviews happen according to schedule.
- HR decisions are increasingly driven by data.
- Repetitive HR activities are progressively automated.
- The HR team operates with explicit KRAs, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
