ABOUT THE COMPANY:
A Delhi-NCR-headquartered NBFC on a mission to empower India's MSME sector — providing adaptable, transparent credit to underserved and unserved entrepreneurs across Tier II, III & IV cities. In just over four years, the company has scaled to roughly ₹750 Cr AUM, 150+ branches across 8 states, and six lending verticals, backed by a seasoned leadership team and marquee institutional investors.
It's a financial-inclusion story with genuine momentum — strong governance (Gold-level client-protection certified), an award-winning, data-driven build, and a clear runway ahead. This role sits at the centre of funding that next phase of growth.
The role - An individual-contributor role in the Founder's Office, reporting directly to the Managing Director. You'll own the capital-raising engine end-to-end — acting as the bridge between the founder's vision and the financial markets, securing both debt and equity to drive long-term growth and liquidity.
WHAT YOU'LL
- OWN Fundraising execution: Lead end-to-end capital raises across term loans, NCDs, securitisation,
direct assignments, and equity — sourcing, structuring, and closing deals across instruments.
- Lender & investor relationships: Be the primary point of contact for banks, financial institutions, credit rating agencies, PE funds, and institutional investors.
- Transaction & due diligence: Own the preparation and vetting of pitch decks, term sheets, sanction letters, and loan agreements, and run diligence cleanly.
- Strategic advisory: Advise the Founder/MD on capital allocation, corporate structuring, and liquidity planning to strengthen the balance sheet.
- Investor relations: Build compelling investor narratives and maintain transparent, well-governed reporting for existing and prospective stakeholders.
- Compliance & risk: Ensure all fundraising activity adheres to RBI guidelines and internal risk policies.
- WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR Non-negotiables
- 5–7 years in NBFC/financial-services fundraising, investment banking, or corporate treasury. Financial-services experience is essential.
- A proven network across banks, financial institutions, and investors.
- Deep understanding of financial statement analysis, pricing and interest concepts, and debt instruments.
- Advanced Excel for financial modelling and tracking borrowing limits and maturities.
- Strong negotiation and board-level communication — verbal and written.
- Comfortable operating hands-on as an individual contributor, based in the office in Gurugram.
