ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking to hire a talented and experienced Videographer / Cameraman to join our growing content team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in videography and camera operations, with a passion for visual storytelling and content production.



The role involves capturing high-quality video content for social media and digital platforms while collaborating closely with the editorial and production teams to create engaging visual content.

The successful candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of camera equipment, framing, lighting, composition, and audio recording, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high production standards.

Responsibilities:

- Shoot and capture high-quality video content for social media and digital platforms.
- Operate and handle professional cameras during shoots, ensuring proper framing, lighting, composition, and audio capture.
- Collaborate closely with the editorial and production teams to understand content requirements and creative vision.
- Set up and manage camera equipment for interviews, podcasts, events, and other video shoots.
- Capture visually engaging footage that supports effective storytelling and audience engagement.
- Ensure proper lighting, composition, framing, and camera angles during shoots.
- Ensure high-quality audio is captured during video shoots.
- Capture all required shots and footage as per the production requirements.
- Handle and maintain camera equipment and other production equipment responsibly.




- Stay updated with the latest trends in news, cinema, videography techniques, camera technology, and digital content.
- Ensure all captured video content aligns with the organization's visual and production standards.
- Work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing production requirements.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Visual Communication, Film Studies, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Videographer, Cameraman, or in camera operations, particularly for social media, podcasts, interviews, or news/entertainment content.
- Strong hands-on experience with professional camera equipment and on-set video production.
- Strong understanding of camera operations, framing, composition, lighting, and audio recording.
- Knowledge of different camera angles, shot compositions, and videography techniques.
- Strong visual storytelling abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication and collaboration within the team.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.

Additional Skills:

- Knowledge of the latest camera technology and videography techniques.
- Familiarity with social media and digital video formats.
- Experience shooting interviews, podcasts, events, and entertainment-related content will be an added advantage.
- Previous experience in news or entertainment media will be an added advantage.
