Role Description The Video Editor role at Twist Media is a full-time, on-site position based in Gujarat, India.

The Video

Editor will work with wedding footage to assemble, edit, and refine cinematic highlight films, pre-wedding reels, social media clips, and full-length documentary edits. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and reviewing raw footage, selecting impactful moments, synchronizing audio, applying transitions and effects, and ensuring smooth pacing that supports the narrative and emotional tone. The role also involves basic color correction and grading, incorporating titles and simple graphics,



and preparing final exports in multiple formats and aspect ratios for delivery to clients. Collaboration with other editors and project leads is expected to maintain consistent quality, follow client style guidelines, and meet agreed timelines.

Qualifications

- Robust skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including organizing footage, cutting sequences, and building clear narratives.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, visually appealing looks that enhance mood and storytelling.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, and simple visual elements that support the wedding films.
- Hands-on experience with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
- Good understanding of sound design basics, including music selection, audio syncing, and clean dialogue mix.
- Strong attention to detail, creative storytelling instincts, and the ability to work with emotionally driven content.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team-based, on-site environment.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, or a related field is beneficial; prior experience in wedding or event video editing is a plus.
