Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Ahmedabad.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for assembling and editing video content for educational programs, marketing campaigns, and social media, ensuring alignment with Skill College’s brand and academic objectives. Day-to-day tasks include organizing raw footage, selecting clips, adding transitions and effects, syncing audio, and integrating graphics and motion elements to create engaging visual stories.



The role also involves collaborating with faculty, marketing, and production teams to understand project requirements, maintaining file organization, and optimizing content for different digital platforms.

The Video

Editor is expected to meet deadlines, follow quality standards, and contribute creative ideas to enhance the impact of video content.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing to manage end-to-end video creation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visual aesthetics.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for creating titles, overlays, and visual elements that enhance storytelling.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop) is beneficial.
- Relevant experience in educational, corporate, or digital media content creation and familiarity with social media formats is preferred.
- Robust attention to detail, visual storytelling ability, time management, and collaboration skills are essential.
- A diploma or degree in Film, Media, Design, Animation, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is advantageous.
