Magnetic Nation is looking for a Video Editor who thinks beyond editing.

We create content around ideas, storytelling, education, entrepreneurship, and building a powerful voice in the world. We are looking for someone who can take our raw videos and continuously make them clearer, sharper, more engaging, and more magnetic.

This is not a role where you simply cut footage, add subtitles, and export.

We want someone who understands storytelling + motion graphics.

What you will work onThere are primarily two kinds of videos:

- Marketing & Organic ContentVideos designed to capture attention, communicate powerful ideas, and grow Magnetic Nation across social media.

This could include

- Short-form videos and reels
- YouTube videos
- Video ads
- Webinar and launch videos
- Founder-led content
- Promotional videos

The goal is not to make videos unnecessarily flashy. The goal is to use editing, pacing, visuals, sound, and motion to make the idea hit harder.

- Courses & Learning ExperiencesMagnetic Nation also creates courses, challenges, workshops, and learning experiences.

Here, your job is different.

Instead of maximizing attention, you need to maximize understanding.

You will use editing, graphics, diagrams, visual metaphors, text, animation, and other elements to make complex ideas simple, memorable, and enjoyable to learn.

The two skills we care about mostStorytellingYou should be able to understand:

- What is the central idea of a video?
- Where should tension build?
- What should be removed?




- Where is the viewer likely to lose interest?
- What deserves emphasis?
- How can the edit make the speaker's idea more powerful?

We want an editor who can understand the meaning behind the footage, not merely the footage itself. Motion GraphicsYou should be comfortable using motion graphics to visually communicate ideas.

Not motion graphics for decoration.

Motion graphics for clarity, emotion, attention, and storytelling.

You should be able to take an abstract concept and ask:

"How can I make the viewer see this idea?"

ToolsYou should be highly comfortable with professional editing tools such as:

- Adobe Premiere Pro
- DaVinci Resolve
- After Effects or equivalent motion-design tools
- Other modern editing, animation, and AI-assisted tools that improve the quality or speed of the work

We care much more about the quality of your thinking and output than which software you use. The kind of person we are looking forYou will probably enjoy this role if:

- You obsess over making things better.
- You have strong visual taste.
- You understand rhythm and pacing.
- You notice when a video feels boring before someone has to tell you.
- You can turn ideas into visuals.




- You are constantly learning new editing techniques and tools.
- You don't need every edit explained frame by frame.
- You can understand the intention behind a piece of content and creatively execute it.
- You care about the story more than showing off an editing technique.

Most importantly, we want someone who can eventually watch a rough video and think: "I know exactly how to make this more magnetic."

LocationThis is an in-person role based in Pune.

You should either currently live in Pune or be willing to relocate to Pune for the role.

We want someone who can work closely with the team, understand our creative language deeply, and become an integral part of how Magnetic Nation's content evolves.
