About the Role

We are looking for a creative and passionate Video Editor Intern who can transform raw footage into engaging, high-retention video content for YouTube, Instagram and other digital platforms.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and CapCut, with a strong understanding of modern social-media editing styles, storytelling, pacing and visual communication.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit long-form YouTube videos, including interviews, podcasts, educational videos, promotional videos and storytelling content.
- Create engaging Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts with solid hooks, pacing and retention-focused editing.
- Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and CapCut.
- Add transitions, subtitles, captions, sound effects, background music and visual effects.
- Create basic motion graphics, text animations, lower thirds and visual effects using After Effects.
- Create platform-specific versions of content for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and other social platforms.
- Implement zooms, cuts, B-rolls, transitions, overlays and pattern interrupts to maintain viewer attention.
- Perform basic color correction, audio cleanup and sound design.
- Select and integrate relevant B-roll, stock footage, images, screenshots and graphics.
- Follow current Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and YouTube editing trends.
- Maintain organized project files, footage, assets and editing timelines.
- Understand and implement feedback from the creative/marketing team.




- Deliver projects within defined deadlines while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Assist the team during shoots when required.

Required Skills

- Adobe Premiere Pro – Required
- Adobe After Effects – Required/Preferred
- CapCut – Required
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
- Understanding of video storytelling and pacing.
- Knowledge of subtitles, captions, transitions and sound effects.
- Basic understanding of color correction and audio editing.
- Good understanding of Instagram and YouTube content formats.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work with deadlines and handle multiple projects.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Photoshop / Illustrator / Canva.
- Experience editing YouTube long-form videos.
- Experience creating high-retention Reels and Shorts.
- Basic understanding of YouTube thumbnails and visual branding.
- Knowledge of trending social-media editing styles.
- Experience with AI video-editing tools is an advantage.
