Role Description The Video Editor will work full time on-site in Delhi, India, collaborating closely with directors and producers to shape the visual storytelling of films and web series. Day-to-day responsibilities include assembling raw footage, organizing media, and editing sequences to match narrative, pacing, and creative direction. The role involves color grading, integrating motion graphics and basic visual effects, and ensuring audio and visuals are synchronized and polished.

The Video

Editor will maintain project files, version control, and delivery formats, while adhering to timelines and production schedules.



This position also includes contributing creative ideas, providing feedback on shot selection, and coordinating with the production team to refine the final cut.

Qualifications

- Robust skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with experience assembling and structuring narrative content.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with the ability to maintain consistent visual tone and style.
- Capability in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, transitions, and simple visual elements that support storytelling.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) and basic sound editing tools.
- Good visual storytelling sense, attention to detail, and the ability to work from scripts, shot lists, and director notes.
- Solid organizational skills, including media management, project structuring, and adherence to deadlines in a collaborative production environment.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in video editing and post-production.
