Role Description This is a full time, on-site Video Editor role based in Salem.

The Video

Editor will handle end-to-end post-production for YouTube video content, including editing raw footage into polished, engaging videos aligned with each channel’s niche and audience. Daily tasks include organizing and trimming clips, adding transitions and effects, integrating motion graphics, and applying color grading to ensure consistent visual quality. The role also involves collaborating with content strategists and creators to refine storylines,



optimize videos for watch time and retention, and adhere to brand guidelines.

The Video

Editor will manage file organization, maintain project timelines, and prepare final exports optimized for YouTube.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including working with various formats and editing software.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and appealing visual style across all content.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics for creating intros, lower thirds, thumbnails, and branded visual elements.
- Knowledge of YouTube best practices, including aspect ratios, pacing, hooks, and optimization for audience retention.
- Attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with creative and marketing teams while receiving and implementing feedback.
- Familiarity with audio editing, sound design, and royalty-free music libraries is beneficial.
- Prior experience editing content for YouTube channels or digital media platforms is preferred.
