Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Coimbatore.

The Video

Editor will transform raw video footage from photo sessions and behind-the-scenes content into polished, engaging videos that reflect the brand’s warm and intimate style. Daily responsibilities include organizing footage, selecting clips, editing sequences, adding music and sound, performing basic color correction, and integrating graphics or motion elements as needed. The role also involves collaborating with the photographer on concepts, maintaining consistent visual branding across platforms, and preparing video content optimized for social media and marketing use.

Editor is expected to manage project timelines, maintain organized file structures,



and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including working with raw footage, timelines, and visual storytelling.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, warm, and natural tones that match the brand’s aesthetic.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for creating simple titles, overlays, and visual elements that enhance storytelling.
- Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic audio editing skills.
- Solid sense of visual composition, pacing, and narrative, with attention to detail and the ability to work with family-oriented, sensitive content.
- Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, manage deadlines, collaborate effectively, and communicate clearly with a small creative team.
- Prior experience in video editing for photography studios, weddings, or family-oriented content is an advantage.
- A relevant diploma or degree in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience with a strong portfolio.
