Job Summary

 The Vice President – Projects will be responsible to drive total project execution from concept to commissioning while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, cost, and schedule objectives.

 Responsible for overall planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of projects milestones related to Raw

Material Handling Systems (RMHS) and Mineral Processing facilities.

Preferred Qualification

 B.Tech Mechanical / Mineral Processing, / Metallurgical Engineering, / Mining Engineering,

 M.E./M.Tech or MBA (Project Management/Operations) will be an added advantage.

Experience

 25–30+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in senior project leadership role.

 Results-oriented with solid execution, commissioning capabilities

 Proven experience in delivering Greenfield Projects from concept to commercial production.

 Strong exposure to RMHS and Mineral processing projects.

 Experience managing large CAPEX projects, EPC contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

 Preferred Industry Experience : RMHS, Mineral processing industry, Cement, Mining, Steel

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

 With Visionary leadership, will represent entire project to Management, Senior management, consultants, government authorities, customers, and contractors.

 Lead entire execution, erection of Quartz mineral processing plant- Quartz Grit Plant (QGP) projects from concept through commissioning and commercial production.

 Lead entire team of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil domains

 Present project status, risks, and mitigation plans to the leadership team

 Develop project execution strategies, milestones, and implementation plans.





 Ensure timely completion of projects milestones as per project schedules, within approved budgets and quality standards.

 Provide strategic direction to multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.

 Lead procurement support, equipment inspection, erection, installation, commissioning, and performance guarantee tests.

 Resolve technical and commercial issues during execution.

 Ensure successful plant stabilization after commissioning.

 Ability for decision-making under pressures

Engineering & Design

 Review and approve engineering deliverables, layouts, PFDs, P&IDs;, equipment selection, and technical specifications.

 Coordinate with engineering consultants, EPC contractors, and OEMs.

 Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and statutory regulations.

Process control and efficiency improvement

 Monitor and control engineering / design flow chart w.r.t equipment:

Crushers (Jaw / Cone), Conveyors (Belt), Screens, Vertical Roller Mills (VRM), Vertical Shaft Grinding (VSG), Ball Mills,

Color Optical Sorters, Pumps/Compressors, Dust Collection Systems, Bucket Elevators, Silos & Hoppers, Material Handling

Equipment, Substation

 Optimize process parameters to improve quality of production materials/ recovery and reduce wastages.

 Analytical and problem solving

Budget & Cost Control





 Prepare and control project budgets and capital expenditure (CAPEX).

 Monitor project cash flow and resource utilization.

 Identify value engineering and cost optimization opportunities.

 Holds strong commercial acumen

Contract & Vendor Management

 Ability to finalize and mobilize contractors

 Excellent skills to evaluate performance of EPC, PMC, and contractors.

 Review and negotiate major project contracts.

 Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and technical specifications.

Team Leadership

 Lead multidisciplinary teams comprising Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Process, Instrumentation, and Project Controls professionals.

 Build high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.

 Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Safety & Compliance

 Ensure implementation of HSE policies and statutory compliance across all project activities.

 Promote a Zero Harm safety culture.

 Conduct regular project reviews, audits, and risk assessments.

 RMHS projects in Greenfield / Brownfield expansion projects

 Project Planning & Scheduling

 Mechanical, Civil, Electrical & Instrumentation Coordination

 SAP PM / ERP Systems

 Primavera P6 / Microsoft Project

 Cost Estimation & Budget Control, Variation analysis

 Commissioning & Plant Stabilization

Pay: ₹10,000,000.00 - ₹20,000,000.00 per year
