Scrapio is looking for an experienced Vehicle Valuation Executive who can accurately assess the value of accidental, damaged and end-of-life vehicles (ELVs).

The role requires robust practical knowledge of automobiles, vehicle components, accident damage and the resale/salvage value of automotive parts. You will be responsible for inspecting vehicles and determining their appropriate procurement value based on condition, recoverable parts, scrap value and expected realization.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect accidental, damaged and end-of-life vehicles.

Determine the fair procurement value of vehicles.

Assess accident severity, mechanical condition and missing/damaged components.

Identify salvageable and high-value parts such as engines, gearboxes, ECUs, body parts, electrical components, etc.

Estimate scrap/material recovery based on vehicle type, weight and condition.

Evaluate whether vehicles should primarily be valued for parts recovery, scrap recovery or both.

Maintain accurate inspection and valuation records.

Work closely with Scrapio's procurement and dismantling teams.

What We're Looking For





Strong practical knowledge of cars, automotive components and vehicle repair.

Experience evaluating accidental, used, salvage or end-of-life vehicles.

Understanding of automotive spare-parts and salvage markets.

Ability to identify mechanical and structural damage.

Valuable commercial judgement and negotiation understanding.

Comfortable conducting physical vehicle inspections and travelling when required.

Preferred Background

Candidates with previous experience in vehicle valuation, motor insurance surveying, accidental vehicle assessment, automobile workshops/body shops, used-car inspection, salvage auctions, RVSFs or automobile dismantling will be preferred.

Experience: 2+ years preferred

Qualification: Automobile/Mechanical Diploma, ITI or relevant industry experience. Practical experience will be given strong preference.
