Your main responsibility is to design, develop, test, optimise, and implement reliable Java/-based applications, RESTful microservices, database schemas, and enterprise backend systems, while software architects and engineering directors set high/-level system architecture, technology stacks, and strategic product roadmaps. As the "Guardian of Server/-Side Performance, API Reliability, Code Integrity, and Scalable Architecture," you assume direct responsibility for converting intricate business requirements into software components that are high/-performing, clean, and maintainable.
Responsibilities/: Java Application &
- Microservices Development/: Use Java and the Spring Framework to design, create, and manage secure, scalable, and high/-performance backend applications and microservices. RESTful API Design &
- Integration/: Create, record, and utilise reliable RESTful web services and APIs to guarantee smooth integration between front/-end systems, external services, and essential backend databases. Database engineering and data management include managing ORM mappings, creating relational and non/-relational database schemas,
writing optimised SQL queries, and putting caching techniques into place to reduce database latency. Code Quality, Automated Testing, and Code Reviews/: Maintain high code coverage requirements, write thorough unit and integration tests, and use peer code reviews to enforce stringent coding standards. DevOps, CI/CD, and Cloud Deployment Support/: Use Docker containers to package services, support cloud platform deployment, and integrate apps into automated CI/CD pipelines.
Skills/: Deep knowledge of both the current Spring ecosystems /(Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Cloud/) and Core Java /(OOP principles, collections, multithreading, concurrency, streams, lambdas/).
Microservices
Architecture &
- Distributed Systems/: Practical knowledge in creating microservices, circuit breakers /(Resilience4j/), messaging queues /(Kafka, RabbitMQ/), service discovery, and distributed tracing tools.
Database Engineering and ORM Proficiency/: Expertise in creating intricate SQL queries, optimising queries, indexing databases, and utilising Hibernate/JPA for effective object/-relational mapping. Strong expertise in TDD/BDD procedures, JUnit, Mockito, SonarQube for static code analysis, and Postman/Swagger for API verification are examples of automated testing and code quality tools.
