Role DescriptionThe U.S. Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing U.S. Federal and State tax returns for individuals and businesses, including Forms 1065, 1120, and 1120S. The role will also involve preparing tax workpapers and Schedule K-1s, performing reconciliations, analyzing Book-to-Tax differences, researching tax regulations, and supporting tax compliance and advisory activities.

The role requires collaboration with U.S.-based stakeholders, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality, addressing tax notices, and meeting filing deadlines.

Requirements





- 4+ years of U.S. Taxation experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. Federal and State tax compliance
- Hands-on experience with Forms 1065, 1120 & 1120S
- Experience with tax workpapers, reconciliations, K-1s, and Book-to-Tax adjustments
- Proficiency in MS Excel and tax/accounting software such as QuickBooks, UltraTax, ProSeries, or similar
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA, EA, or equivalent certification is an advantage
- Prior experience supporting U.S. clients through a BPO, shared services, or public accounting workplace is preferred
- Immediate joiners only
- Willingness to work from office in Mohali and in the U.S. night shift
