Job Summary The SQL & Tableau Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining database solutions, dashboards, and analytical reports. The role requires strong SQL skills, hands-on Tableau expertise, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to transform business data into meaningful insights for decision-making dashboards.

Job Responsibilities

1. SQL Development

- Design, write, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and ETL processes.
- Ensure database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple sources.
- Maintain data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems.
- Experience with APIs, automation scripts, or cloud databases

1. Tableau Development

- Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visual analytics using Tableau Desktop.
- Manage and publish dashboards on Tableau Server.
- Gather reporting requirements from business users and convert them into visualization structures.
- Optimize dashboards for speed, performance, and usability.
- Implement row-level security, user permissions,



and data refresh schedules.

1. Business & Data Analysis

- Understand business needs and convert them into technical/reporting solutions.
- Analyse data trends, patterns, and anomalies to support strategic decisions.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

1. Collaboration & Documentation

- Work with cross-functional teams such as IT, production, sales, and finance to gather requirements.
- Maintain documentation for data structures, reports, and processes.
- Support ad-hoc data requests and automate recurring reporting tasks.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or similar.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in SQL development and Tableau reporting.
- Expertise in Tableau Desktop & Tableau Server.
- Experience with data modelling, star schema, and relational databases.
- Knowledge of Python/Power BI (optional advantage).

Preferred Experience (Good to Have)

- Strong communication and ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Self-driven, proactive, and eager to learn current tools/technologies.
- Experience in manufacturing domain reporting (Production, QC, Sales, Inventory).
- Knowledge of ERP database structure.
