Role Overview The UI/UX Designer II delivers intuitive, accessible, end-to-end product experiences that balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints. Working across discovery and execution within cross-functional pod teams, you will turn complex product challenges into refined digital interactions, partner directly with engineering and product managers, and leverage agentic AI workflows to maximize design output and execution speed.
Primary Responsibilities
- End-to-End Product Design: Map user flows, frame solutions through low-fidelity concepts, and deliver polished, high-fidelity interfaces across mobile and web platforms.
- AI-Driven Process Efficiency: Utilize agentic AI tools and automated workflows across daily operations to accelerate layout generation, research synthesis, and technical documentation.
- AI-Assisted Prototyping & Validation: Create interactive prototypes through AI agents to validate assumptions, conduct usability testing, and align cross-functional partners around solution direction.
- Design System Stewardship: Apply, maintain, and contribute current scalable components, variables, and interaction standards to the central design system.
- Detailed Handoff & QA: Produce engineering specs—including edge cases, empty states, dynamic accessibility states, and loading behavior—and conduct Design QA to ensure technical implementation matches visual design.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience:
4–5 years of dedicated UI/UX or digital product design experience backed by a strong portfolio showing problem-solving capability.
- Core Design Skills: Strong foundation in visual design, information architecture, typography, color theory, and interaction design.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
- Figma & AI Tooling: Advanced proficiency in Figma (auto-layout, variable modes, component properties) paired with hands-on experience using agentic AI design tools to streamline execution.
- Accessibility Standards: Practical knowledge of WCAG 2.2 standards, WAI-ARIA patterns, and inclusive design principles across web and mobile applications.
- Technical Literacy: Practical knowledge of front-end capabilities and constraints (HTML/CSS/JS) to build performant, implementable interfaces.
- Communication: Ability to clearly explain design decisions and adapt constructively to feedback.
Organizational Environment
We provide a structured environment dedicated to professional development and design excellence. As an Associate Designer, you will receive direct mentorship and have the opportunity to contribute to products that impact a significant user base. We value disciplined execution, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to the craft of design.
