Role Description The TSCM RF Technical Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in India, responsible for technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM) and RF-related engineering tasks. This role involves conducting RF spectrum analysis, identifying and mitigating illicit or suspicious transmissions, and deploying countermeasure equipment in operational environments. The engineer will configure, test, and maintain TSCM tools and surveillance systems, document findings, and prepare clear technical reports for law-enforcement and government stakeholders.
Daily activities include supporting field operations, collaborating with internal R&D; and technical teams, providing training or demonstrations on equipment use,
and ensuring all systems comply with relevant standards and security protocols. The role requires readiness to work in demanding operational conditions and occasionally outside standard working hours, aligned with agency requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong RF engineering skills, including RF spectrum analysis, signal detection, interference troubleshooting, and familiarity with RF test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and RF scanners).
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with TSCM and counter-surveillance solutions, including deployment, calibration, and operation of technical surveillance countermeasure tools and covert detection systems.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in electronic systems and communications, such as understanding analog and digital communication protocols, basic electronics, wiring and connectors, and integration of RF components into larger systems.
- Candidates should possess analytical and documentation skills, including methodical problem-solving, report writing, data interpretation, and the ability to present technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess field operation skills, including readiness to work in office in diverse environments, adherence to safety and security procedures, and coordination with law-enforcement or government teams during operations.
- Candidates should possess general professional skills such as strong written and verbal communication, teamwork and collaboration, time management, and high ethical standards and discretion when handling sensitive information.
