Dharmalife Foundation is a leading social impact organization working to empower rural women through sustainable livelihoods, entrepreneurship, health, education, and access to essential products and services.

At the heart of the Dharmalife model are Dharmalife Entrepreneurs (DLEs)rural women entrepreneurs who create economic opportunities for themselves while driving positive social change within their communities. The Trainer plays a critical role in strengthening the capabilities of DLEs by delivering structured classroom-based and field-based learning programmes that improve their entrepreneurial, sales, product, digital, and leadership skills.

Position Purpose The Trainer is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering high-quality training programmes for Dharmalife Entrepreneurs (DLEs) through classroom-based, experiential, and practical learning methods.

The role focuses on building the knowledge, skills, confidence, and business capabilities of DLEs to enable them to effectively promote products, engage communities, increase sales, manage customer relationships, and grow their entrepreneurial activities.

The Trainer will ensure that every training programme is engaging, participative, outcome-oriented, and aligned with Dharmalife's business and social impact objectives.

Responsibility Areas

1. Training Delivery

- Conduct classroom-based training programmes for DLEs as per the approved training calendar. Deliver induction training for newly onboarded/existing DLEs.
- Conduct refresher and advanced capability-building programmes for existing DLEs.




- Facilitate learning through interactive discussions, role plays, demonstrations, case studies, group activities, and practical exercises.

- Entrepreneurship and business development

- Sales and customer engagement

- Program and Projects

- Product knowledge
- Financial literacy; Digital literacy
- Community mobilisation; Leadership and communication skills
- Use of Dharmalife applications and technology platforms
- Create a participative and encouraging learning environment.
- Ensure training content is delivered in a easy and locally relevant manner.
- Address participant questions and clarify doubts effectively.
- Ensure training objectives and learning outcomes are achieved.

2. DLE Capacity Building & Coaching

- Assess participant learning levels and training needs.
- Identify knowledge and skill gaps among DLEs.
- Provide post-training support and coaching to DLEs.
- Support DLEs in applying learning in the field.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and hands-on learning sessions.
- Guide DLEs on customer interaction, sales planning, and business growth.
- Encourage continuous learning and self-development among DLEs.
- Share best practices and success stories during training sessions.

Training Planning & Coordination

- Coordinate with programme teams for training schedules and participant nominations.
- Ensure training venues, classrooms, training materials, and logistics are ready before sessions.
- Manage participant attendance and training records.
- Coordinate with field teams for mobilisation of participants.
- Ensure availability of training aids, equipment, and learning materials.
- Support the execution of district, state, and regional training programmes.

4. Reporting & Documentation

- Maintain training attendance records.
- Conduct pre-training and post-training assessments.
- Capture participant feedback and learning outcomes.
- Prepare training completion reports.
- Maintain records of training sessions, participant performance, and follow-up actions.
- Share training reports with programme leadership within defined timelines.
- Document success stories, learning insights, and best practices.

Educational Qualification

- Graduate in any discipline.
- Degree or Diploma in Education, Training, Rural Development, Social Work, Business Administration, or related fields will be preferred.

Experience

- Minimum 35 years of experience in training, facilitation, adult learning, community mobilisation, capacity building, sales training, or rural development programmes.
- Experience working with women's groups, self-help groups, entrepreneurs, field teams, or community-based programmes will be preferred.
- Experience in classroom facilitation and adult learning methodologies is highly desirable.
