· Conducting research on microorganisms, their growth, behavior, and interactions.

· Analyzing samples (e.g., water, clinical specimens) to identify and characterize microorganisms.

· Developing and implementing new methods for microbiological testing and analysis.

· Performing microbiological experiments and procedures, including culturing, staining, and identification of microorganisms.

· Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment.

· Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.

· Recording and analyzing experimental data.

· Preparing reports and presentations on research findings.

· Maintaining accurate records of laboratory procedures and results.

· Providing technical expertise and guidance to other scientists and technicians.

· Contribute to formulating microbiological standards.

· Assisting in planning to prevent the spread of disease.

· Planning and implementing new trials.
