About The Role
We are looking for an Experiential Marketer to own the strategy, project management, and execution of our highest‑impact, marketer-targeted trade shows and surrounding experiences. This role will lead integrated event marketing campaigns, from pre‑event promotion through onsite execution and post‑event follow‑up, across multiple personas and target audiences.
You’ll partner closely with sales, product marketing, field marketing, and the core events team to turn trade shows, sponsored events, and executive dinners into a high-performing pipeline and brand channel.
- Tier 1-3 trade show strategy & project management
- Own end‑to‑end planning and execution for Tier 1-3 trade shows and activations, including on‑site presence, in‑booth experiences, speaking sessions, and meeting programs.
- Build clear event briefs with objectives, target audiences, key messages, offers, and KPIs for each major show.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and run‑of‑show documents; keep cross‑functional stakeholders aligned and accountable.
- Own end-to-end logistics on booth experience, signage, shipping, vendors, and onsite staffing, ensuring everything ladders up to the event strategy.
- Own post‑event recaps, performance reporting, and optimization recommendations.
- Integrated event marketing for trade shows
- Develop multi‑channel event marketing plans for priority trade shows: organic social, email, web, paid amplification (where relevant), and partner co‑marketing.
- Lead sales enablement for each program: talk tracks, 1‑pagers, decks, and meeting briefs tailored to each audience.
- Collaborate with demand gen to build audience segmentation, nurtures, and cadences before and after events. Create copy for emails, landing pages, and other marketing collateral as needed.
- Coordinate content with product marketing and brand/creative, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning across all touchpoints.
- Track and report on registrations, meetings, lead quality, pipeline, and influenced revenue from event marketing activities.
- Sponsored events, partner programs & hosted dinners
- Plan and execute sponsored events, partner activations, and wraparound experiences (dinners, happy hours, small-format networking events) tied to Tier 1 and Tier 2 shows.
- Work with partners to define shared goals, messaging, and promotion plans, ensuring brand alignment and a strong attendee value proposition.
- Own guest list strategy, invitations, confirmations, and on‑site experience for hosted dinners and VIP experiences.
- Ensure all sponsored and hosted programs have clear measurement plans and post‑event follow‑up workflows.
- Audience & persona strategy
- Build and refine persona‑based event strategies across key segments (e.g., demand gen, field marketers, marketing ops, event planners, executives, etc.).
- Tailor event narratives, offers, and calls‑to‑action for different buyer stages and segments (prospects, customers, partners).
- Partner with analytics and marketing ops to understand audience performance by persona, industry, segment, and region, and use those insights to inform the event roadmap.
- Partner with sales and customer teams to bring the right mix of accounts and personas into each program.
- Collaboration, budget & operations
- Serve as the central point of contact for assigned trade shows and activations, driving alignment across marketing, sales, and events.
- Manage budgets for your programs, including tracking spend and reconciling invoices in partnership with finance and procurement.
- Use project management tools to keep work streams organized, transparent, and on schedule.
- Continuously test and scale new event formats, offers, and engagement tactics to improve ROI.
- 3-5+ years of B2B event marketing, field marketing, and trade show experience, ideally in SaaS or technology.
- Experience planning for the marketer target audience preferred
- Proven track record owning Tier 1 trade shows or large‑scale activations end‑to‑end (strategy, campaigns, onsite execution, and follow‑up).
- Hands‑on experience building integrated event marketing campaigns (email, social, web, sales plays, and partner marketing).
- Strong project management skills; comfortable leading complex programs with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to utilize AI to increase efficiencies, improve attendee experience, and optimize event marketing performance
- Experience planning and executing sponsored events, dinners, and small-format experiences alongside major conferences or trade shows.
- Demonstrated ability to segment and market to multiple personas and target audiences, tailoring messaging and content accordingly.
- Data‑driven mindset with experience using CRMs and marketing automation tools like Salesforce, Marketo, and Wrike to track performance and report on results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex offerings into clear, compelling event narratives.
- Team-oriented collaborator who thrives in a fast‑paced, high-visibility environment.
- Willingness to travel for key trade shows, activations, and events as needed.
