Summary
Work as a hands-on Dynatrace developer and observability engineer responsible for implementing, developing, automating, and supporting enterprise observability solutions across applications, infrastructure, cloud, Kubernetes, APIs, and distributed systems. Build advanced monitoring, analytical, incident analysis, performance optimization, and production-stability capabilities using Dynatrace, DQL, Grail, APIs, OpenPipeline, and automation.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Implement Dynatrace onboarding for applications, infrastructure, cloud, Kubernetes, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Develop advanced DQL queries, Dynatrace dashboards, SLOs, alerts, monitoring views, reusable observability components, and operational reports.
- Automate Dynatrace configuration using APIs, Terraform, scripts, CI/CD pipelines, and Configuration as Code practices.
- Implement OneAgent, ActiveGate, OpenTelemetry, APIs, extensions, OpenPipeline telemetry ingestion, and processing solutions.
- Develop Dynatrace-to-ServiceNow / ITSM integrations and support automated incident creation, enrichment, correlation, and tracking.
- Perform incident investigation, technical RCA, alert-noise reduction, problem correlation, production support, performance analysis, and stabilization activities.
- Support Dynatrace implementation activities, including requirement gathering, environment assessment, deployment planning, configuration setup, monitoring enablement, validation, and documentation.
- Deploy and manage OneAgent across servers, containers, Kubernetes clusters, and cloud platforms using automation, scripts, deployment tools, and customer-approved operational processes.
- Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, observability standards, and participate in design discussions, knowledge-sharing, and mentoring activities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Dynatrace APM / Observability Engineering OneAgent, ActiveGate, Management Zones, tags, access controls, and permissions.
- DQL, dashboards, SLOs, alerting, anomaly detection, problem management, Grail, OpenPipeline, OpenTelemetry, logs, metrics, traces, events, and distributed tracing.
- Dynatrace APIs, REST-based integrations, automation, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Shell, Terraform / Configuration as Code, and CI/CD exposure.
- Monitoring exposure across Java, .NET, Node.js, Python, Go, microservices, APIs, containers, Kubernetes, cloud-native applications, AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid environments.
- ServiceNow / ITSM integrations, Davis AI / Dynatrace Intelligence, RCA, incident triage, capacity and performance analysis, SRE / AIOps practices, and GenAI / Agentic AI awareness.
Additional Information The candidate should have hands-on experience in Dynatrace APM / Observability Engineering and automation-led observability implementation.
Flexible across application, infrastructure, cloud, on-prem, Kubernetes, and hybrid monitoring environments.
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, collaboration, learning agility, and problem-solving skills are required.
Valuable to have exposure to Splunk, Datadog, ServiceNow / ITSM, Terraform, OpenTelemetry, SRE / AIOps, and GenAI / Agentic AI concepts.
