Role Description The Technician role at VOX India is a full-time, on-site position based in North Guwahati. The Technician will be responsible for operating and monitoring machinery and equipment, performing routine inspections, and ensuring production processes run safely and efficiently. Daily activities include identifying and resolving minor technical issues, performing basic maintenance tasks, and reporting complex faults to senior technical staff.

The role also involves following standard operating procedures, maintaining accurate records of work performed,



and collaborating with production and quality teams to meet output and quality targets. The Technician is expected to adhere to workplace safety guidelines and support continuous improvement initiatives within the facility.

Qualifications

- Technical skills in operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery and equipment.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting routine mechanical or electrical issues.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards in a manufacturing setting.
- Understanding of basic workplace safety practices and willingness to follow safety protocols.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams.
- Relevant technical diploma, ITI certification, or equivalent experience in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in building materials, plastics, or home furnishing manufacturing is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to changing production requirements.
