Role Overview

Gadgeon Smart Systems is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Technical Sales

Specialist to support the growth of Delpheon, our Industrial IoT platform for manufacturing industries.

This is a customer-facing role that combines technical understanding with business development. The person will work closely with manufacturing customers to understand their operational challenges, identify opportunities for digitalization, and position relevant

Delpheon solutions.

The role involves direct interaction with plant managers, operations, maintenance,

engineering, IT, and other key stakeholders across manufacturing organizations.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and engage prospective customers across manufacturing and industrial

sectors.
- Visit factories and plants to understand customer processes, operational

challenges, and digitalization requirements.
- Conduct initial discussions with plant managers, operations, maintenance,

engineering, IT, and management teams.
- Understand customer requirements and effectively communicate how Delpheon

solutions can address their operational needs.
- Support product presentations, demonstrations, customer meetings, and site visits.
- Work closely with internal sales, product, and engineering teams to develop

appropriate solutions for customer requirements.
- Follow up with prospects and support opportunities through different stages of the

sales cycle.
- Build and maintain robust, long-term relationships with customers.
- Maintain visibility of leads,



customer interactions, opportunities, and follow-up

activities.
- Keep abreast of developments in Industrial IoT, automation, manufacturing

digitalization, and related technologies.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors or postgraduate degree in a technical discipline is essential, such as:
- B.Tech / B.E, MCA,BCA, or any other relevant technology-related

qualification
- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them clearly to customers.
- Comfortable interacting with customers and working in factory and industrial

environments.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings, factory visits, and business

development activities.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in technical sales, business development, solution sales, or customer-facing roles is preferred, particularly in one or more of the following areas:

- SaaS / Enterprise Software
- B2B Technology Sales
- IoT / Industrial IoT
- Industrial Automation
- Manufacturing Software
- Industry 4.0 / Digital Manufacturing solutions

Exposure to manufacturing environments, industrial equipment, automation systems, ERP/MES platforms, or plant operations would be an added advantage.
