Position: Technician Officer/ Laboratory Analyst ­– Analytical Chemistry

Location: Gurugram (On-Site)

The ideal candidate will work together with our principal scientist to collaborate with our US based QA/QC team to develop, document, and validate reproducible analytical methods along with maintaining and troubleshooting analytical instruments. The position requires running samples, and reporting results to rapidly provide information for our US based purchasing team. Further, the candidate would identify new potential vendors, and aid to obtain local solutions for customer support in India

Key Responsibilities

- Carrying out experiments as per established methodologies and preparing final reports
- Assisting the Scientist(s) for method development
- Documenting experimental procedures and results in accordance with laboratory practices
- Maintenance (including preventive) and calibration of all laboratory instruments
- Track submitted samples and report results to Scientist-in-charge.
- Adherence to turn-around time, perform in an organized manner in a high expectation environment
- Maintaining the inventory of laboratory chemicals and consumables.
- Researching and expanding the list of chemical vendors for raw materials




- Coordinating with both clients and vendors, following up on purchase orders, shipments
- Maintaining protected working environment in laboratory and following EHS guidelines
- Assisting the scientist in problem solving, planning, and growth of laboratory infrastructure

Skills and Qualification

- M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry/Applied Chemistry with 0-2 years’ experience

OR

B.Sc.(Hons) in Chemistry/Applied Chemistry with 2-4 years’ experience in Analytical Chemistry Laboratory or experience in a QC laboratory within Dye Industry

- Prospective candidates must have hands on training in sample preparation, handling of chemicals, and documentation and presentation of results from experiments.
- Hands-on training in spectroscopic and chromatographic instruments (E.g., UV-Vis spectrometer, FT-IR, HPLC, etc.) is preferable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access is preferrable.
- Good communication skills, self-motivation, ability and enthusiasm to learn and multi-task.
