Key deliverables:
1. Lead end-to-end PostgreSQL migrations from on-premise to cloud (preferably GCP)
2. Optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex DB issues
3. Develop stored procedures and ensure database high availability and backup
4. Document root cause analyses and maintain operational excellence
Role responsibilities:
1. Administer and tune PostgreSQL databases across core and cloud infrastructure
2. Perform heterogeneous migrations from Oracle/SQL to PostgreSQL
3. Implement automation using scripting and tools like Ansible, BARMAN, EFM
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve database-related incidents and queries
