Role Description The Technical Head – CBG Projects is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for leading the technical delivery of compressed biogas projects from concept to commissioning. This role oversees project design reviews, process engineering, and technology selection, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards for CBG plants.

The Technical

Head coordinates with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients to resolve technical issues, optimize plant performance, and manage project timelines and budgets. Daily activities include providing technical guidance to project engineers, reviewing detailed engineering documents,



supporting installation and commissioning activities, and conducting root cause analysis for operational challenges. The role also involves mentoring team members, driving technical training initiatives, and contributing to innovation and continuous improvement across CBG project portfolios.

Qualifications

- Robust analytical skills to assess technical proposals, troubleshoot process issues, and optimize plant performance.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and clients, and for preparing clear technical documentation.
- Experience providing technical support for EPC or industrial energy projects, preferably in biogas, RNG, or CBG plants.
- Proven team management skills, including mentoring engineers, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and overseeing project execution.
- Experience in training technical staff on processes, safety standards, and operating procedures for biogas or related process plants.
- Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, or Energy Engineering (advanced degree or specialization in biogas or renewable energy is an advantage).
- Hands-on experience with biogas plant design, CSTR or similar reactor technologies, and waste-to-energy systems is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements for industrial gas and renewable energy projects.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru and travel to project locations as needed.
