Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Tech Lead - Java role based in Hyderabad.

The Tech

Lead will design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications that support Vassar Labs’ digital transformation and climate technology solutions.

Responsibilities include leading a team of developers, reviewing code, setting technical standards, and ensuring best practices in software architecture, security, and performance. The role involves collaborating with product managers, data and domain experts, and other technical stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions.

The Tech

Lead will also guide technical decision-making, mentor team members, participate in code and design reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

Education - B.Tech/M.Tech

Primary Skills: Java, Spring boot, spring MVC, Restful web services, Algorithms, Design patterns

Secondary Skills: Messaging technologies, Cloud Azure or AWS

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or master’s in computer applications
- 5+ years of development work experience in:
- Microservice Architecture, Java/J2ee Technologies,
- Spring Tech Stack: Spring, Spring Integration, Spring Boot
- Rest API – Hands on development, designing and modeling API
- Apache Kafka/RabbitMQ, Apache Camel and any other messaging and streaming platform
- Strong understanding of Java, OOPS, Micro service Cloud Design Patterns
- Strong experience in designing and developing scalable, high performance, fault tolerant, secured

enterprise applications services based on cloud native Micro Services architecture
- Proficient in design, development and management of Rest API and related tools Swagger, Google

APIGEE, Postman, Soap UI
- Good experience in integrating enterprise applications using Enterprise Integration Patterns
- Keep up with the changes in modern technology, learn new frameworks and tools and create an

environment where the same can be passed on to other teammates.
- Support and maintain applications utilizing required tools and technologies. Ensure applications are

scalable and operate efficiently in the production environment.
- Participation in design, brainstorming sessions with teams located in multiple geographies and time

zones
- Comfortable working in an open, agile, rapidly changing environment where collaboration is crucial.
- Must be self-motivated and take initiative.
