CloudIT is seeking an experienced, well-rounded, and productive Tax Accountant and Bookkeeping Specialist for one of its clients.

The ideal candidate is a US Tax Accountant with 3–5 years of experience, preferably in a CPA or public accounting firm, who has hands-on experience preparing US federal and state tax returns (Individual, Corporate, Partnership, S-Corp, and C-Corp). They should be proficient in QuickBooks and tax software, have strong knowledge of bookkeeping and month-end accounting, and be comfortable handling IRS notices, tax planning, and direct client communication. Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns broadly ranging in complexity for individual, corporate, and partnership clients (including C-Corporations, S-Corporations, Partnerships, and other State and Localities over a range of industries.
- Perform services within budgeted time by developing technical,



time management, and organizational skills
- Assist in preparation of quarterly and year-end estimates
- Draft response letters to IRS and state notices when needed
- Make adjusting entries and complete a trial balance in order to prepare business returns
- Perform accounting/bookkeeping functions when needed
- Profit-and-loss statements
- Monitor company accounts and conduct quarterly/annual reviews
- Maintain client relationships and work directly with clients to resolve tax issues
- Analyze tax and accounting issues and draw logical conclusions
- Complete month-end financial reporting
- Prepare, review, and communicate to clients tax-planning projections for both businesses and individuals, including estimating tax liabilities, "as-if" scenarios, and other projects on an as-needed basis.
- Contact the IRS to quickly and confidently resolve notices and other issues.
