Now, we’re scaling Apollo’s lending business as well as Apollo Cash, our digital personal loan app. As Apollo Cash scales, our team needs to scale rapidly across engineering, product, business, and operations.

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Associate who has spent their career inside startups and technology companies, building teams from the ground up.

This role is heavily focused on engineering, product, and data hiring, and requires someone who has independently driven hiring in quick-paced environments where speed, ownership, and resourcefulness matter.

This is not a traditional HR coordination role, nor is it a role for agency recruiters.

This is a high-ownership recruiting role where you will work closely with founders and hiring managers to build a scalable, AI-native hiring engine as Apollo Cash grows.

What You’ll Do

- Own end-to-end hiring across roles, with a primary focus on engineering, product and data hiring
- Partner with founders and hiring managers to define hiring strategy, role clarity, and ideal candidate profiles
- Build strong pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles as Apollo Cash scales
- Source candidates using LinkedIn, referrals, startup communities, networks, and AI-driven sourcing tools
- Drive the entire hiring funnel — sourcing → screening → interviews → offer → closure




- Act as the hiring owner for Apollo Cash as teams scale across engineering, product, business, and operations
- Build hiring processes, playbooks, and sourcing strategies from scratch rather than relying on agencies or inbound applications
- Ensure a robust, fast, and consistent candidate experience at scale
- Build and improve hiring systems, trackers, dashboards, and reporting
- Use automation and AI tools to improve sourcing, screening, scheduling, and follow-ups
- Track and optimize hiring metrics such as TAT, conversion rates, offer acceptance, and quality of hire

What You’ll Need

- 2–4 years of talent acquisition experience exclusively within startups, fintechs, or technology companies
- Strong experience in tech hiring is non-negotiable
- Must have independently hired for engineering, product, and data roles
- Demonstrated experience owning the complete hiring funnel — sourcing, screening, stakeholder management, offers, and closures
- Solid sourcing skills beyond job portals, including LinkedIn, referrals, communities, and founder networks
- Experience working in lean, high-growth environments with aggressive hiring goals
- Comfortable experimenting with AI tools, automation,



sourcing tools, and ATS platforms
- Ability to assess candidates for ownership, execution ability, and startup mindset
- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, founder-led environment with high autonomy and accountability

Bonus if you have:

- Experience hiring in fintech or lending startups
- Experience building hiring processes from scratch
- Familiarity with engineering roles such as backend, frontend, full-stack, mobile, data, ML, and DevOps
- Exposure to AI-driven sourcing, screening, or recruiting workflows
