Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Tech Admin with strong expertise in Windows and Linux system administration, enterprise monitoring, distributed systems, networking, automation, and infrastructure troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining system health, improving reliability, resolving incidents, and developing automation to reduce recurring issues and MTTR.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform day-to-day operational tasks to validate that all systems are healthy, available, and performing optimally.
- Manage service availability, latency, scalability,



and efficiency by engineering reliability into systems and software.
- Respond to and resolve critical/emergent service issues and participate in an on-call rotation.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application performance issues in large-scale distributed environments.
- Use Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools to diagnose system performance and availability issues.
- Identify recurring incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and work with cross-functional teams to implement permanent solutions.
- Develop automation tools and scripts to eliminate repetitive tasks and prevent outages.
- Continuously identify opportunities to reduce incident volume and improve Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR).
- Provide data and analysis to support incident, problem, and overall service-quality investigations.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively identify potential capacity, availability, and reliability issues.
- Maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and operational knowledge bases.
- Support enterprise networking, Windows Directory Services, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, and other core systems as required.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong experience with Windows and Linux system administration.




- Expertise in analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong enterprise monitoring experience.
- Good scripting/programming skills using one or more of:
- Shell
- PowerShell
- Python
- Perl
- PHP

- Strong knowledge of IP networking, network analysis, performance troubleshooting, and application issues.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as tcpdump and Wireshark.
- Experience with Windows Directory Services / Active Directory.
- Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability.
- Experience supporting enterprise-class infrastructure environments.
- Experience with Cisco routers and switching equipment is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

- Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi/ESX and vCenter.
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
- AWS or Azure cloud certifications.
- Experience with Dynatrace or equivalent Application Performance Management (APM) tools.
- Experience managing systems in IaaS environments.
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification or equivalent networking experience.
- CompTIA Linux+ or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification.
- Experience supporting Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop environments.
- Experience with Commvault or equivalent data protection/backup technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug Terraform and Chef code.
- Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management.
