Responsibilities

- Validation of all the inspections and tests to be conducted by contractors as per Projects ITP (Inspection Test Plan).

- Checking and verification of all the protocols submitted by Contractors.

- Witnessing and validation of mix trials (both in-house and at outside laboratory) conducted by Contractors.

- Checking and validation of project work as per approved FQP.

- Periodical checking of all incoming construction material w.r.t technical specification / MTC as applicable. Approval of incoming material by maintaining IMIR (Incoming Material Inspection Report).

- Site Inspection: Verification and certification of construction method statement submitted by contractor.

- Checking of day-to-day construction works at site and ensuring the quality as per Construction drawing. Construction methodology / Technical Specification / relevant Indian standard.

- Stagewise inspection of reinforcement shuttering works as a pre-pour check.

- Checking and certification of fabricated items (like welding of insert plates) before its use.

- Pre-pour final checking of all the concrete pours. Checks include accuracy of all reinforcement, dimensional tolerances and embedment (like insert plates, foundation bolts) as per drawing within tolerance limit.

- Post-pour inspection of structures to check the conformity.

- Raising NCRs for any major / minor defects as per Companys guideline / as directed by EIC.





- Physical checking and verification of structures for handing over to subsequent agencies after its completion. Raising punch points for completion in totality handing over to Structural / Equipment agencies.

- Documentation: Collection and documentation of all pour cards, protocols, test reports, MTCs, NCRs and its closure reports etc.

- Documentation: Tracking and record keeping of RMC production.

- Documentation: Communicating and intimating EIC for any deviation w.r.t ITP / FQP / Construction methodology / Technical specification.

- Submission of monthly presentation to EIC. Presentation should contain monthly RMC production details, Tests conducted, non-conformities (if any), Valuable Practices, Areas of improvement.

Qualifications

- Must have 3-8 yrs experience of inspection or QA/QC in Steel plant / Oil Gas Refinery / Chemical Plant / Power Plant .

- Must have QA/QC experience in Piling inspection.

- Must have experience in concrete inspection with various grads of concrete.

- Must have experience in various types of soil testing.

- Must have exposure of IS standards for civil work.

- Must have knowledge of IS standard requirements of construction Bars.
