Role Purpose
We are seeking a data-driven Supply Chain Analyst to serve as the analytical engine for our global S&OP; process. This role bridges the gap between our supply chain systems and our planning team. Your primary objective is to drive cross-functional alignment between demand, supply, inventory, and financial plans.
By managing system governance, inventory performance, and metric-based analysis, you will enable our demand and supply planners to focus on their core priorities: forecast improvement, inventory optimization, and strategic supply planning decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Cross-Functional Alignment & Strategic Enablement: Act as the "glue" between demand, supply, inventory, and finance teams to ensure all planning inputs are synchronized. Protect planner bandwidth by managing process governance and data reconciliation.
- Inventory Performance & Corrective Action: Monitor inventory performance (Turns, DOH (days on hand), Safety Stock, Excess & Obsolete Inventory) to identify risks and opportunities. Implement and track corrective actions to ensure inventory targets are met and reconciled against financial budgets.
- Performance Coaching & S&OP; (Sale and Operations Planning or IBP Integrated Business Planning) Support: Partner with leadership to produce the monthly S&OP; review, ensuring data accuracy and coherent executive summaries. Provide direct,
metric-based guidance to demand planners to help them lead effective S&OP; meetings with Product Management.
- Systems Oversight & Data Governance: Act as the primary point of contact for system health (Kinaxis/Apolo (Avaya Internal tool), SAP IBP, Blue Yonder IBP, Xelus). Monitor batch jobs and data integrity; coordinate and escalate issues with internal admin teams. Execute and maintain information related to NPI and End-of-Life (EOL) processes.
- Forecast Performance Analytics & BI: Monitor and communicate performance metrics (wMAPE (weighted Mean absolute percent error), Forecast Accuracy, Bias). Utilize Google Workspace (Looker Studio, Google Sheets (Microsoft Excel) and SQL to build and maintain Executive KPI dashboards (Power BI, Tableau)and translate raw data into actionable insights.
Requirements
- Experience: 3–5 years in global supply chain planning and business intelligence.
- Technical: Medium -Medium-Advanced proficiency in SQL/Python and Google Workspace tools (Looker Studio/Google Sheets). Ability to perform data modeling. Kinaxis experience is a robust plus; we are willing to train.
- Analytical Skills: Expert-level understanding of forecast metrics (wMAPE, Forecast Accuracy, Bias) and statistical/ML-based planning models is a plus.
- Operational Mindset: Strong governance mindset; ability to drive accountability and provide data-backed coaching without direct authority.
