Role Description This full-time remote Structural Engineer role is responsible for supporting the studio’s architectural and interior design work through precise structural solutions.

The Structural

Engineer will perform structural analysis and calculations for a variety of building elements, ensuring safety, code compliance, and alignment with design intent. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with designers, reviewing drawings, developing structural concepts, and producing detailed structural documentation. The role involves using computer-aided design (CAD) tools to create and update structural plans, coordinating with external consultants when needed,



and providing clear technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

The Structural

Engineer will also help optimize materials and systems to balance performance, sustainability, and aesthetic goals.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to integrate structural solutions into design-focused projects.
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis and performing accurate calculations for building components and systems.
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for developing, reviewing, and revising structural drawings.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and best practices for structural design.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative workplace with multidisciplinary design teams.
- Strong communication skills, including clear documentation and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in high-end residential or boutique commercial projects is a plus, as is familiarity with sustainable or innovative building materials.
