Position: Store Manager

Industry: Civil Construction / EPC

Experience: 5–10 Years

Qualification: Graduate / Diploma, preferably with experience in construction material management

Job Responsibilities

- Manage complete site store operations, material receipt, storage and issue.
- Receive construction materials and verify quantity, quality, challans, purchase orders and invoices.
- Maintain accurate GRN, inward, outward, issue and stock registers.
- Ensure proper storage of cement, steel, electrical, plumbing, finishing and other construction materials.
- Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Issue materials against approved requisitions and maintain proper records.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Billing, Site Engineers and Project Manager for material requirements.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile differences.
- Maintain records of tools, tackles, machinery and consumables issued to site teams and subcontractors.
- Monitor material consumption and report abnormal usage, wastage, damage or shortages.
- Ensure proper stacking, identification and labeling of all materials.




- Maintain records of returnable and non-returnable materials.
- Coordinate with vendors and transporters for timely unloading and receipt of materials.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly stock and consumption reports.

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in store management for civil construction projects.
- Good knowledge of civil, MEP and finishing construction materials.
- Robust knowledge of inventory control, material reconciliation and documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/store management software.
- Ability to handle large volumes of construction materials independently.
- Good coordination and record-keeping skills.
- Experience in EPC, CPWD, Government, Hospital or large building construction projects will be preferred.

Preference: Candidates with strong experience in site inventory control, ERP-based material management and reconciliation of cement, steel and major construction materials. Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
