We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Store In-Charge to take complete ownership of day-to-day store operations. The role will cover end-to-end supervision of the store, inventory management, inward and outward movement, billing, documentation, approvals, stock control, team supervision, and coordination with internal departments, vendors, and logistics.

The person will be responsible for ensuring that all store activities are carried out accurately, efficiently, and within defined processes and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations & Supervision

- Take complete ownership of daily store operations.
- Supervise store staff and allocate daily responsibilities.
- Ensure proper discipline, housekeeping, organization, and safety within the store.
- Monitor all inward, storage, picking, packing, and outward activities.
- Ensure smooth coordination between Stores, Sales, Procurement, Accounts, and Logistics.

Inventory Management

- Maintain accurate physical and system inventory.
- Monitor stock levels and identify shortages, excess, damaged, and slow-moving stock.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and stock audits.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
- Ensure proper tagging, labelling, categorization, and storage of products.
- Maintain proper records of all stock movements.
- Ensure zero unauthorized stock movement.

Inward & Purchase Receipt

- Receive and verify goods against PO, invoice, challan, or other relevant documents.
- Check quantity, product specifications, and physical condition of received goods.
- Ensure timely inward/GRN entries in the system.
- Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies immediately.
- Coordinate with Procurement and vendors for resolution of discrepancies.

Outward & Dispatch

- Manage the complete outward process against approved requirements/orders.
- Ensure correct picking and quantity verification before dispatch.
- Supervise packing and dispatch documentation.




- Coordinate with the Logistics team for timely dispatch.
- Maintain complete records of all outward stock movement.
- Ensure no material is dispatched without proper approval.

Billing & Documentation

- Handle and supervise store-related billing and documentation.
- Verify invoices, delivery challans, stock transfer documents, and related paperwork.
- Ensure billing is accurate and completed within timelines.
- Coordinate with Accounts for billing and documentation issues.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and management review.

Approvals & Stock Controls

- Ensure all inward, outward, transfer, return, replacement, and adjustment transactions have the required approvals.
- Maintain proper approval records and supporting documents.
- Escalate unauthorized or unusual stock movements to management.
- Ensure proper controls are followed for inventory adjustments.

Returns, Damages & Replacements

- Manage returned materials and conduct physical verification.
- Maintain separate records for damaged, defective, rejected, and excess stock.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Vendors, Sales, and Accounts for replacement or return cases.
- Ensure damaged/rejected stock is properly identified and controlled.

Team Supervision

- Supervise store executives/helpers and monitor their daily work.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor productivity.
- Train the team on store processes, inventory handling, documentation, and safety.
- Ensure accountability for stock and store assets.

MIS & Reporting

- Prepare regular store and inventory reports for management.
- Maintain reports for stock position, inward/outward movement,



discrepancies, damaged stock, pending dispatches, and stock adjustments.
- Provide accurate inventory data whenever required.

Audit & Process Compliance

- Always keep the store audit-ready.
- Maintain proper records and supporting documents.
- Support internal and external stock audits.
- Implement controls to minimize stock loss, pilferage, wastage, and discrepancies.
- Follow company SOPs and continuously identify opportunities to improve store processes.

Candidate Profile

- 3–7 years of experience in Stores, Warehouse, Inventory, or Operations.
- Hands-on experience in managing end-to-end store operations.
- Good knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
- Experience with billing, GRN, inward/outward, dispatch, and documentation.
- Experience supervising store staff.
- Positive knowledge of Excel and ERP/software systems.
- Strong numerical and documentation skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Highly responsible, organized, and detail oriented.
- Should be hands-on and capable of independently handling day-to-day store operations.

Role Objective To take complete ownership of the store's end-to-end operations—from inward and inventory management to billing, approvals, stock control, dispatch, documentation, audits, and team supervision—while ensuring accuracy, accountability, and operational efficiency. Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
