Role Description The Steel Detailer is a full time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for preparing detailed drawings and models for structural steel projects. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, developing 2D/3D steel models, creating shop and fabrication drawings, and coordinating rebar and connection details in line with project specifications and standards. The role involves collaborating with engineers, project managers, and other detailing team members to resolve design issues, maintain drawing accuracy, and support project schedules.

Detailer will also review and update drawings based on client feedback,



ensure adherence to quality and compliance requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement of detailing processes and templates.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Steel Detailing and Steel Structures for a variety of industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should possess solid experience creating Shop Drawings and interpreting Architectural Drawings with a focus on constructability and compliance.
- Candidates should possess working knowledge of Rebar detailing and coordination with structural and architectural designs.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla Structures or similar) and familiarity with BIM workflows.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, ability to read and understand engineering specifications, and solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with multidisciplinary teams and manage deadlines.
- Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field, and prior experience as a Steel Detailer or Structural CAD technician, is highly beneficial.
