Role Description The State Head (Telecom Industry Only) is a full-time, on-site role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. This position oversees telecom-focused operations within the assigned state, including planning and executing sales strategies, driving business growth, and maintaining solid relationships with channel partners and key clients.

The State

Head will lead and mentor regional teams, monitor performance against targets, and coordinate cross-functional activities with operations, support, and product teams. Daily responsibilities include reviewing market trends, managing telecom and radio projects, ensuring timely delivery of solutions,



and maintaining service quality standards. The role also involves regular reporting to senior leadership, budgeting and forecasting for the state, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of the telecommunications domain, including telecom operations and radio technologies.
- Proven project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor telecom-related initiatives.
- Demonstrated team management experience, including leading, mentoring, and developing field and office teams.
- Solid sales capabilities, with experience in channel management, business development, and achieving revenue targets.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with channel partners, enterprise clients, and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort in using data and reports for decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Business, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a leadership role within the telecom industry at regional or state level is highly preferred.
- Willingness to travel within the state as required and work closely with on-ground teams and partners.
