We are looking for a Staff Nurse cum Guest Relations Officer to join our Visa Medical Centre in Hyderabad. The role combines clinical nursing responsibilities with applicant/customer handling, ensuring accurate, efficient, and patient-friendly delivery of visa medical services.

Role Overview The incumbent will be responsible for conducting and supporting various visa medical examination activities, including recording patient information, checking vital signs, phlebotomy and sample collection, vaccination, vision screening, medical documentation, and sample dispatch.

The role will also involve Guest Relations and front-office responsibilities, including applicant registration, explaining the visa medical process, guiding applicants through different service touchpoints, managing queries, and ensuring a smooth overall customer experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesClinical & Nursing – Visa Medical Operations

- Record applicants' basic medical parameters including height, weight, BMI, blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and other vital signs.
- Perform phlebotomy and blood sample collection as per defined protocols.
- Ensure proper sample labeling, barcoding, tube/container selection, documentation, and safe handling.
- Verify applicants' vaccination records and administer mandatory vaccinations as required.
- Generate vaccination vouchers for vaccinations that are not available or have not been administered, as per process.
- Administer medication prescribed by the authorized medical practitioner, where required.
- Conduct vision screening, including visual acuity and colour vision testing.
- Accurately update medical records and applicant information in the Clinical Management System.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation related to visa medical examinations.




- Ensure timely handover of collected samples and requisitions to laboratory/dispatch teams within defined SLAs.
- Update the online dispatch register with sample transportation details.
- Maintain adequate stock of vaccines, medical consumables, and other clinical supplies.
- Verify service receipts, laboratory job orders, and lab requests.
- Follow appropriate infection prevention, clinical safety, and biomedical waste management practices.
- Maintain confidentiality of applicant medical records and sensitive information.

Guest Relations & Applicant Management

- Welcome and professionally interact with applicants visiting the Visa Medical Centre.
- Register applicants accurately in the Clinical Management System within the defined turnaround time.
- Explain the visa medical examination process, procedures, requirements, and referral process clearly to applicants.
- Guide applicants through the different stages/service touchpoints of the medical examination.
- Manage applicant queries, incoming calls, and general service-related requests.
- Ensure applicants are attended to within defined timelines to minimize waiting time and improve customer experience.
- Manage reception and waiting areas, including queue and crowd management.
- Guide applicants based on the token/display system and centre workflow.
- Receive and process medical/laboratory referrals as per established SOPs.
- Verify applicant identity documents and supporting documentation.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with appropriate discretion.
- Manage billing/cash collection accurately, wherever applicable.
- Capture Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) feedback and support initiatives to improve applicant experience.

Qualifications & Experience

- GNM / Diploma in Nursing or equivalent nursing qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in nursing, hospitals, diagnostic centres, medical examination centres, visa medical centres, or healthcare operations.
- Valid registration with the applicable Nursing Council / Regulatory Body.
- Candidates with experience in Visa Medical Centres, Immigration Medical Examinations, Phlebotomy, Vaccination, Diagnostic Centres, or International Medical Examination processes will be preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency with experience in clinical/healthcare management systems.
