Role Description The Staff Accountant – Canadian Accounting (Work from Office | Night Shift) is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida. This role is responsible for maintaining and reviewing accounting records for Canadian clients, including posting journal entries, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, and preparing monthly financial statements.

The Staff

Accountant will handle accounts payable and receivable, assist with budgeting and variance analysis, and ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards and tax regulations. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with team members and client contacts, responding to queries about financial data,



and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The role also involves using accounting software and spreadsheets to produce accurate reports and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including Canadian GAAP and familiarity with Canadian tax concepts.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills for reconciliations and reporting.
- Experience in preparing financial statements, performing bank and ledger reconciliations, and managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to work reliably in a night shift schedule, manage deadlines, and handle multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CPA or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in Canadian accounting or working with international clients is preferred.
