Senior Software Engineer – Dotnet

Experience : 4 to 5 years

Location :- Chennai

Candidate must have 4 to 5 years of experience on c#, asp.net core, asp.net, ado.net, SQL, windows services and Winforms

Notice Period : not more than 30 days

Core Responsibilities:

- Frame specifications based on high-level understanding of the problem statement and develop the code.
- Develop, write, and implement software-programming applications following established architecture standards as well as software development and project management methodologies.
- Implementing low-level solutions for business problems.
- Write high quality code using the guidelines and effectively debug the code.
- Document the code changes, package the code, and unit test it
- Perform code review of junior members
- Work with the application development team in delivering the project and deliverables within time and valuable quality
- Assess requirements for current and enhanced functionalities; identify impact on existing applications, operating systems, hardware, and networks
- Perform unit testing, ensure quality assurance of applications through system testing
- Keep up-to date with latest technologies, trends and provides inputs/recommendations to project manager or the architect as required
- Coordinate and communicate with the other tracks and disciplines involved in the project
- Perform root cause analysis for production issues
- Investigate and resolve technical issue

Support Activities:

- Take ownership of customer issues and addressing customer needs and pain points
- Collect prompt and accurate feedback from customers
- Responding to customer queries via chat, phone, or mail
- Reporting customer feedback to Support Manager or Project Manager
- Document the solution in Knowledgebase system for future reference
- Help juniors to address customer queries
- Ensure the proper recording of all support activities

Technical Skillset:

- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Technologies such as ASP.NET 4.X and above, .Net Core, C#.Net, ADO.Net,
- Experience in creating database schema using SQL Server 2014 and above. knowledge on MongoDB or Cosmos DB is a plus
- SQL Server must.
- Strong technical knowledge on scripting languages like Javascript, JQuery, HTML5 and CSS3
- Better understanding of Agile methodologies and of DevOps integration
- Basic understanding on design patterns and principles
- Experience in code versioning tools like Git TFS BitBucket, etc
- Good understanding of IIS 7.X or above
- Experience in Session Management, Exception Handling & Logging, IOC and DI
- Work experience with Repository Pattern, Unit of Works and Microservices pattern is a plus
- Experience in automation testing using selenium TestNg is a plus

Knowledge of Tools

- Knowledge of tools: Visual Studio 2015 or higher, VS Code, SSMS, GIT/TFS, Windows 7 or higher
- Knowledge on technologies like Service Bus, Blob, Microservices, Cosmos db etc. is a plus
