The candidate will be responsible for architecting and developing custom, complex WordPress-based solutions along with PHP framework-based solutions, while providing senior-level technical leadership on requirements gathering, web project planning, and general technical direction.

Provide leadership in finding/developing new technologies and methods to advance the companys web offerings:

Own and design the architecture and scalability strategy of our websites and CMS.

Be accountable for product quality, performance, and timeliness of product delivery.

Define, review and enforce software development best practices and processes.

Support and represent the company’s goals and objectives.

Design and develop awesome new features.

Own project deadlines, product launches & releases; test UI and resolve cross-browser/cross-device compatibility issues.

Plan and estimate development activities, assign weekly development tasks & milestones for team members, and track them to closure.

Mentor and upskill team members, and drive technical career growth within the team.

Technical Competency

Deep expertise in creating and implementing custom themes, plugins, and Gutenberg blocks.

Extensive experience connecting WordPress to third-party services using RESTful APIs and plugins.

Robust front-end skills, including solid experience with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript libraries such as Bootstrap, jQuery, and a strong understanding of CSS.





Strong command of code versioning tools – Git – and ticketing tools – JIRA.

Proven ability to independently architect and deliver complex modules with little to no handholding.

Experience setting coding standards, conducting code reviews, and driving engineering best practices across a team.

Functional Competency

Any Graduate/Postgraduate/Any Engineering.

12–16 years of experience building complex, high-traffic websites with WordPress and custom PHP.

At least 7 years’ experience leading and mentoring a software engineering team.

Strong organizational, stakeholder management and communication skills.

Flexibility, energy, and ability to work well with others in a cross-functional environment.

Ability to learn and upskill in new technologies and drive adoption across the team.
