Purpose

- Design Modification
- Analysis and Validation
- Prototyping and Manufacturing Support

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- 2D drawings preparation for tyre moulds and ancillary.
- 3D model inspection for tyre mould and ancillary.
- Maintain drawings records in archives.
- Visual/Onsite inspection of moulds and ancillary.
- Problem solving at plant if any issue related to moulds and ancillary.

Qualification

- Diploma Engineer (Mechanical)
- Prior experience in tyre mould drawing development at least for 3 to 4 years.
- Familiar with software suits such as Auto CAD, Uni Graphics, NX14, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads.

Functional Competencies

- Basic Engineering and Processing Methods: Knowledge of basic engineering principles and processing methods.
- DFMEA: Ability to identify and assess potential design failure modes and tasks.
- 3D Modelling – UG NX: Ability to create and modify 3D models using UG NX.
- 2D Drafting – AutoCAD: Ability to create and interpret 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
- Experimental Methods & Basic QC Tools:



Ability to apply basic experimental methods and QC tools for problem solving.
- Experimental Methods & Advanced Statistical Tools: Ability to use advanced statistical tools for data analysis and decision-making.
- Change Management: Ability to manage and implement changes effectively.
- Regulations and Legislations: Knowledge of applicable regulations, legislations, and compliance regulations.
- Basics of Tyre System: Knowledge of tyre structure, components, and basic functionality.
- Materials and Compound Knowledge: Knowledge of materials, rubber compounds, and their properties.
- Customer Insighting: Ability to understand customer needs and translate insights into product improvements.
