Description

- Knowledge of vehicle and component regulations e.g. FMCSR, FMVSS, ECCC, Regulatory bodies etc.
- Knowledge of homologation documentation and vehicle type approval process with different certifying agencies
- Product knowledge on multiple subsystems including - chassis, mechatronics, electrical and electronics components.
- Knowledge in AI & ML based NLP integration and python automation for data analytics.
- Drawing and Design language interpretation of structures, components and assemblies.
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models, including NLP solutions, for production‑ready applications.
- Work with large datasets on data preprocessing, feature engineering, model evaluation, and performance optimization.
- Product defect investigation, warranty analysis, data analysis, trend analysis and interpretation is an added advantage.
- Experience working on MB and DTNA release management will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Python programming and automation skills is added advantage for automation and efficiency improvement
- Good knowledge of Power BI for dash boards .
- Skilled in process documentation aligned with standard requirements.
- Know how in Vehicle recall process for trucks.

Responsibilities

- Read, analyze, interpret, summarize, and communicate regulatory language, for safety-related regulations to engineering and project teams




- Regulatory material management for hazardous substances like PFAS, Plastic and rare earth materials.
- TREAD recall process documentation and submitting regulatory information data to government authority.
- Interact with Engineering to plan project work such that vehicles will meet all safety regulatory requirements and to generate necessary documentation, such as test reports, for homologation purposes.
- Provide explanation of test procedure documentation and reporting to departments responsible for engineering and validation.
- Obtain proof of compliance from suppliers, engineering and test for projects as required.
- Generate necessary documentation, such as Recall reports, recall data completion for NHSTA (NAFTA) also including ADR test report for homologation purposes in Australian market.
- Data analysis and handling for data. Automation of topics. Preparation of Dash board.
- Python Automation & knowledge in Power Bi.

Qualifications

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Education Mechanical/Automotive B.E./B.Tech.
- 5+ years of experience in Automotive/commercial vehicles domain.
- Good understanding of DTNA product portfolio & product life cycle.
- Solid knowledge of CVDS is preferred.
- Good communication & networking skills.
- Positive Knowledge in Python, Power Bi, Automation.
