Key Responsibilities

1. StrategicDesign Leadership:

Develop and implement theinterior design vision and strategy aligned with the firms overall businessobjectives and target markets. Establish and maintainhigh-level design standards, guidelines, and best practices for all projecttypes.

Conduct market research andtrend analysis to inform innovative and competitive design solutions.

Champion design excellence thatdifferentiates the firms projects in the marketplace.

1. ProjectOversight & Execution:

Lead the interior designprocess from concept development through construction administration and finalinstallation for multiple concurrent projects. Oversee the creation andpresentation of design concepts, mood boards, space planning, FF&E;(Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) specifications, material selections, andconstruction documentation.

Ensure design solutions meetfunctional requirements, budget constraints, regulatory codes (ADA, firesafety, etc.), sustainability goals (LEED, WELL, etc.), and operational needs.

Manage project timelines,budgets, and resources effectively, identifying and mitigating risksproactively.

Review and approve designdeliverables from internal team and external consultants (architects, MEPengineers, lighting designers, etc.)

1. StakeholderCollaboration & Communication:

Serve as the primary interiordesign liaison between internal stakeholders (Development, Construction,Sales/Marketing, Asset Management) and external partners (clients, investors,contractors, vendors). Present design concepts andprogress clearly and persuasively to executive leadership, investmentcommittees, clients, and community groups.

Negotiate effectively withcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to secure best value and quality.





Resolve design-relatedconflicts and issues constructively.

1. BudgetManagement:

Develop, manage, and trackinterior design budgets for all projects, including FF&E; procurement. Implement cost-control measuresand value engineering strategies without compromising design integrity.

Oversee the procurement processfor FF&E;, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, purchase ordermanagement, and installation coordination.

Maintain robust relationshipswith key vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers to leverage resources and securefavorable terms.

1. QualityAssurance & Compliance:

Conduct rigorous qualityreviews of design documentation, shop drawings, and installed work to ensureadherence to design intent, specifications, and quality standards. Ensure all designs comply withapplicable building codes, regulations, accessibility standards, andsustainability certifications.

Manage the punch list processand project closeout for interior elements.

1. Innovation& Process Improvement:

Stay abreast of industrytrends, emerging materials, technologies, and sustainable practices. Identify and implementopportunities for process improvements within the interior design function toenhance efficiency and outcomes.

Explore and integrateinnovative design solutions that enhance user experience and project value.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelors degree inInterior Design, Architecture, or a related field from an accreditedinstitution.
